General

Inorganic salts solvent with a corrective effect, for the chemical treatment of heavy crude oil of 20 °API or less with high water and occluded-salt content. Hydrocarbon-dispersible, water-soluble amber liquid.

Application

Onshore and offshore installations: wells, headers, separation batteries of the distribution system and hydrocarbon treatment.

Uses and benefits

Keeps separators, mandrels and wells clean, from the mandrel to the choke and downcomer. Efficient over a wide range of temperatures and pressures.

Recommended dosage

Laboratory tests are recommended to determine the optimum dosage according to the characteristics of the crude. Typically 10 to 35 ppm for heavy and extra-heavy crude. Continuous or batch application.

Packaging and storage

200-liter plastic drums, 1,000-liter high-density polyethylene containers with metal cage, or stainless steel containers. Store in a cool, ventilated place, protected from direct sun and rain, with containers closed when not in use. Review the product safety data sheet.
