Corrosion inhibitor

General

Corrosion inhibitor with a protective effect for the chemical treatment of any light or heavy crude oil in the 11 to 42 °API range, with high water content and sweet and sour corrosive gases. Hydrocarbon-dispersible amber liquid.

Application

Onshore and offshore installations: wells, headers, separation batteries of the distribution system and hydrocarbon treatment.

Uses and benefits

Suitable for light, heavy and extra-heavy crudes; efficient over a wide range of temperatures and pressures. Achieves an anticorrosion efficiency above 90 %.

Recommended dosage

Laboratory tests are recommended to determine the optimum dosage according to the characteristics of the crude. Typically 10 to 50 ppm for light, heavy and extra-heavy crude. Continuous or batch application.

Packaging and storage

200-liter plastic drums, 1,000-liter high-density polyethylene containers with metal cage, or stainless steel containers. Store in a cool, ventilated place, protected from direct sun and rain, with containers closed when not in use. Review the product safety data sheet.
