Hydrogen sulfide neutralizer

General

Hydrocarbon-soluble hydrogen sulfide neutralizing agent developed from amines. Focused on sweetening plants that scavenge the hydrogen of H2S in the natural gas that feeds power plants.

Application

Sweetening plants and gas scrubbers handling gas from light, heavy and extra-heavy crude.

Uses and benefits

Reduces H2S content so the gas can feed power plants, avoiding severe corrosion and irreversible damage to equipment internals.

Recommended dosage

15 to 150 ppm at the rectifier inlet, depending on hydrogen sulfide content. In the sweetening unit it is recharged whenever lost by carry-over in the contactor tower.

Packaging and storage

200-liter plastic drums, 1,000-liter high-density polyethylene containers with metal cage, or stainless steel containers. Store in a cool, ventilated place, protected from direct sun and rain, with containers closed when not in use. Review the product safety data sheet.
