Asphaltene and paraffin inhibitor and dispersant

General

Hydrocarbon-soluble inhibitor and dispersant developed from a blend of polyimides and resins. Focused on wells producing crude with paraffin-crystallization and asphaltene-precipitation problems, where pressure and temperature conditions accelerate the rise of the colloidal instability index.

Application

Wells, first-stage separators, separation batteries, storage tanks. Prevents pump cavitation in light, heavy and extra-heavy crude.

Uses and benefits

Extends the production life of the well and keeps the separator clean and efficient, so downstream pumps draw without plugging. Combined with an inorganic-salts inhibitor it prevents pump cavitation, and it helps light and heavy crude blend homogeneously.

Recommended dosage

15 to 50 ppm at wellheads or pump suction, separation batteries, gun barrels and storage tanks, depending on the colloidal instability index and performance tests.

Packaging and storage

200-liter plastic drums, 1,000-liter high-density polyethylene containers with metal cage, or stainless steel containers. Store in a cool, ventilated place, protected from direct sun and rain, with containers closed when not in use. Review the product safety data sheet.
