Organics solvent

General

Hydrocarbon-soluble organics solvent developed from a blend of aromatics and alcohols. Focused on wells producing crude with chemical-emulsion problems, where pressure and temperature conditions accelerate the growth of the emulsion.

Application

Wells, first-stage separators and gun barrels; prevents pump cavitation by dissolving organics in light, heavy and extra-heavy crude.

Uses and benefits

Improves crude transport from wells under continuous treatment. Applied in the well or in a gun barrel, it keeps the interface clean and lets the water drop out, making the process more efficient.

Recommended dosage

15 to 50 ppm at wellheads or pump suction, separation batteries, gun barrels and storage tanks, depending on the type of emulsion and performance tests.

Packaging and storage

200-liter plastic drums, 1,000-liter high-density polyethylene containers with metal cage, or stainless steel containers. Store in a cool, ventilated place, protected from direct sun and rain, with containers closed when not in use. Review the product safety data sheet.
